By of the Journal Sentinel Officials have released the name of the man who died early Friday in an apartment fire in the 900 block of Bismark Avenue in Oshkosh. The man, Stephen "Dallas" West, 64, died of thermal injuries and smoke inhalation, according to a news release from the Oshkosh Police Department. Kandi West, 57, was rescued from the smoke filled second floor apartment and is recovering from non-life threatening injuries.
